Mark Robinson

Mark Robinson is Co-President of Centerview Partners Holdings LLC, a leading global investment banking firm. Previously, he worked at Merrill Lynch & Co. and was responsible for its global investment banking healthcare practice. For nearly 30 years, Mr. Robinson has provided strategic advice to the world’s most prominent and innovative healthcare companies, particularly those in the biotechnology and medical device industries.

Mr. Robinson has been active in higher education issues since he was a student. He is a past Chairman of the Board of the College of Letters and Sciences at University of California, Berkeley, as well as a member of the Board of Trustees of the UC Berkeley Foundation. Together with his wife, Stephanie, he established the Robinson Program in Life Science Business and Entrepreneurship, a dual-degree undergraduate program between the Haas School of Business and the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology at UC Berkeley.

He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Mr. Robinson earned his MBA from Harvard University and his bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley.

In July 2022, he was appointed by Gavin Newsom to serve as a Regent of the University of California for a term extending through 2034.
