Bylaw 26. Special Committees

26.1 Establishment and Authority.

The Board may establish Special Committees to assist in the effective conduct of its business. A Special Committee shall be formed on approval by the Board of a Special Committee charter, following the recommendation of the Governance Committee. Without limiting the discretion of the Board, Special Committees will be established for purposes of providing more focused review and analysis of a specific issue or event, and will be established for a limited duration determined at the time of formation. Unless the Special Committee charter provides otherwise, the provisions of Sections 24.1 through 24.12 shall apply to all Special Committees.
