Van Schultz is Senior Vice President – Strategic Business Development/ Exploration and Exploitation at Aera Energy, LLC.
Mr. Schultz received his B.S. and M.S.degrees in engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. His career has been in the petroleum industry. He has remained involved at UCLA, having just completed a term as Chair of the Alumni Association (2010 – 2012), following a three year term as Director and Chair Elect (2007 – 2010). He served as President of the Engineering Alumni Association from 2004 to 2006.
Mr. Schultz is currently the Treasurer of the Alumni Associations of the University of California. He serves as Alumni Regent-designate for a one-year term commencing July 1, 2012.
