Regents Policy 4102: Policy on Authorities of the General Counsel for Claims Due the University

Approved September 22, 2005

On a continuing basis, the General Counsel is authorized to take all appropriate action in the best interest of the University, including filing suits and settlements in connection with unlawful detainer actions and to recover unpaid balances on accounts receivable and other monetary claims due the University. The General Counsel will report to The Regents any recovery on receipts in excess of $100,000.
